Important dates for the upcoming election season:
- October 2, 2008 - County Clerk's office begins sending out mail-in ballots
- October 6, 2008 - Deadline to register to vote in the Fall election
- October 27, 2008 by midnight - Deadline for the Clerk's office to receive an application for mail-in absentee ballots
- November 3, 2008 by noon - Deadline for the Clerk's office to receive an application to vote absentee via the traveling board
